Join us on the courts!

We welcome members of all ages and levels to utilize the Greenwood Country Club tennis facilities. The tennis area at the Greenwood Country Club consists of four tennis courts available for member use, as well as a social area. Water is provided on the courts and we are always working to maintain and improve the tennis area. 

We are please to announce that we have hired Mr. Marko Lovrinovic as the head tennis professional for the Greenwood Country Club!

Marko was born in Croatia and came to the United States after being offered an athletic scholarship to play tennis and study at Virginia Tech.  Marko was there for two years before transferring to Belmont University in Nashville, TN, to play. While at Belmont, he obtained an undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 2015. He then went on to earn his master’s degree in Sports Administration. 

Marko is a USPTA certified tennis professional with seven years of coaching experience and twenty years of playing experience.  While playing at Virginia Tech, he was twice selected to the all-conference first team. He currently holds the all-time school record for total number of wins at Belmont University. 

Before accepting the head tennis professional position in Greenwood, Marko worked as a tennis professional at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee where he coached players of all ages and skill levels. When Marko is not on the tennis court, he enjoys reading, alpine skiing and playing soccer. 

Marko is very excited to be the new tennis professional and is eager to get started developing the tennis programs at the Greenwood Country Club.  Please feel free to reach out to Marko to welcome him to Greenwood and to schedule a clinic or lesson.
